Cocoonr invites you to stay in a truly unique venue in Barjols, in the heart of Provence Verte.
Housed in a former tannery that has been completely transformed into an artist’s loft, this 130 m² property offers a unique experience, blending heritage, nature and creativity. Located on the 1st floor (no lift), the accommodation comprises the following: – An 80 m² living area with a sitting area, dining area and a view of the waterfall. – A fully fitted kitchen including: an electric kettle, oven, microwave, dishwasher, hob… – Two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed (160×200). – A study. – A bathroom with a shower. – A separate toilet. For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional amenities: washing machine, fan, iron. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included – we’re just waiting for you! This loft is situated in a former tannery in Barjols, a place steeped in history that is now part of a quiet, characterful artists’ quarter. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as restaurants, boutiques and the Barjols market. The natural surroundings are also one of the property’s great assets: a waterfall flows right next to the building, whilst two other waterfalls, reachable in about a 10-minute walk, offer the chance to go for a swim. Activities: – Explore the waterfalls situated in the immediate vicinity of the loft, two of which are within walking distance and ideal for swimming. – Visit the Carmes caves and waterfalls, approximately 1 km away. – Walking trails in and around the village. – Exploring the local heritage and the old tanneries district. – Visiting nearby vineyards. – Restaurants, shops and the market in Barjols, all within walking distance. Transport: If you choose to come by car, you can park for free at the foot of the loft or nearby, just past the tunnel. As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful: – Nearest railway station: Carnoules, 43 km away. – Nearest airport: Marseille-Provence, 86 km away. To ensure your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, this property is managed in partnership by the teams at Cocoonr (a listing and booking management service) and a local concierge service. Other notes: – Bed linen and towels are included. – Free Wi-Fi is available. – Pets are not permitted in the accommodation. – For the owners’ security, the property is fitted with security cameras, which are only active when the property is not let. These will be switched off during your stay. – End-of-stay cleaning is included in your booking and involves preparing the property for future guests.
Please ensure you leave the property in a reasonably clean condition and clean any household appliances after use. – Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A flat-rate surcharge may apply.
