Chapel Cottage is a bright, completely self-contained one-bedroom annexe set within the grounds of a 19th-century Wealden cottage in semi-rural Piltdown, near Uckfield.
Built in 2019, it offers modern, comfortable accommodation with its own entrance and parking, making it a great choice for couples seeking a relaxing East Sussex break or golfers visiting the nearby course. Inside, guests have a double bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen diner and a spacious brand-new living room.
Patio doors lead from the sitting room onto a balcony with seating for two and views across the landscaped grounds towards Piltdown Golf Club.

The sitting room has patio doors leading onto the balcony, which can also be accessed via the side passage.
The brand-new sitting room provides a comfortable space to relax, with a Smart TV and free Wi-Fi. Guests can log into their own Netflix, Prime or other streaming accounts using their personal details.
The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with an air fryer, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, along with essential cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery.
Complimentary tea and coffee, plus salt and pepper, are provided. BEDROOM The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, bedside table and built-in wardrobes, providing plenty of storage for your stay. Plenty of fresh bed linen is provided for all beds. BATHROOM The bathroom features a walk-in shower, sink, toilet and mirror, with convenient Jack and Jill doors providing access from the hallway and bedroom. We provide plenty of bath towels, hand towels and bath mats. BALCONY & OUTDOORS The balcony is accessed from the sitting room through the patio doors or via the side passage and has seating for two. It overlooks the landscaped grounds and provides a pleasant spot to sit outside.
The surrounding gardens feature winding lawns, mature trees and colourful borders. PARKING Parking is provided on the large shared driveway. ABOUT THE AREA Piltdown offers a peaceful base for exploring East Sussex, with Uckfield nearby for shops, cafés and everyday amenities.
The Piltdown Man provides a traditional country pub option close to the property, while Piltdown Pond and the surrounding area offer opportunities for local walks and wildlife spotting. For days out, explore the gardens at Sheffield Park and Garden, discover the landscapes of Ashdown Forest or take a steam train journey with the Bluebell Railway.
