Cedar Lodge is a pleasant single-storey cottage in Canterbury, Kent, featuring an enclosed garden, sociable open-plan living, and off-road parking for three cars.
Well suited to families or friends exploring this historic corner of Kent, the cottage provides a practical setting where days can begin around the breakfast table and conclude with everyone gathered together in the sitting area. Leave the cars outside and step directly into a home arranged entirely across one storey.
At its heart is the open-plan living space with dining and sitting area and separate kitchen, which contains an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer for everything from quick breakfasts to family suppers, while the television offers evening entertainment after a day beyond the cottage. Three bedrooms provide a choice of two king-size and a twin, making the arrangement suitable for different generations or groups of friends.
Morning routines are handled by both a shower room with a walk-in shower and a bathroom with a bath and shower over.
Outside, the enclosed garden gives the group another place to spend time together, whether starting the day with a drink outdoors or returning for fresh air before dinner. A shop and pub can be reached locally, while Canterbury - just 15 minutes away - offers rewarding days among its winding lanes and the striking Canterbury Cathedral.
Travel to Whitstable to browse artisan shops and watch boats moving around the harbour, visit Folkestone and it's trendy harbour with a wealth of boutique eateries, or Hythe with it's extensive beach.

Cedar Lodge is a single-storey cottage consisting of an open-plan living space with a kitchen featuring an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, and toaster, a dining area, and a sitting area with a TV. A utility houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedrooms consist of two doubles and a twin, served by a shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin, and WC, and a bathroom with a bath, shower over, heated towel rail, basin, and WC. Central heating, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. A travel cot is available, but guests must bring their own cot linen. Outside, there is an enclosed garden and off-road parking for three cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. A shop is within 1.6 miles and a pub is within 0.9 miles.
