Our accommodation is situated in a peaceful, natural setting and is the ideal base for a relaxing holiday in Berchtesgaden National Park, perfect for couples, families and nature lovers. You’ll also find a large garden and a balcony with stunning views of the mountains, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Enjoy the proximity to the world-famous Königssee, numerous hiking trails, mountain tours and attractions in the region, as well as easy access to the Mozart city of Salzburg, which is just a short trip away. Whether you’re looking for an active holiday or a relaxing break in the countryside – here you’ll find the perfect combination of relaxation, Bavarian hospitality and an alpine experience.

You can easily reach our house in Schönau am Königssee via the A8 Munich–Salzburg motorway. Take the Bad Reichenhall exit, follow the B20 towards Berchtesgaden and then follow the signs to Schönau am Königssee. The journey time from the motorway exit is around 20 minutes.

The cozy Watzmann vacation apartment at the Augstenlehen guesthouse in Schönau am Königssee is located on the first floor and combines rustic charm with modern touches.
