Nestled on a gentle hillside surrounded by olive groves and just a short distance from the village of Castiglion Fiorentino, Casale il Canaiolo welcomes you into an authentic and relaxing atmosphere.
Once an ancient monastery, the farmhouse has been lovingly restored to preserve its original charm, bringing it back to life as the perfect retreat for those seeking a holiday immersed in the beauty of Tuscany. Located just 1.5 km from the centre of Castiglion Fiorentino, the farmhouse enjoys a peaceful and panoramic setting.
A short walk will take you to the village’s traditional restaurants, a local bar for a coffee, or the artisanal gelateria, so there is no need to take the car. Il Canaiolo is part of a working farm producing extra virgin olive oil and wine: genuine local products that you can taste and purchase directly on site.
On the ground floor of the villa, you will find the wine cellar, an authentic setting where you can experience the traditions of Tuscan winemaking up close.
If you stay during the harvest season (September/October), you will have the opportunity to see what happens after the grapes are picked and discover the early stages of the winemaking process, experiencing the genuine atmosphere of life in the Tuscan countryside.
It is a unique way to get to know the local area and its traditions while still enjoying all the comforts of your holiday. Staying at Casale il Canaiolo, you can combine days exploring Tuscany’s main art cities — Arezzo (20 minutes), Cortona (20 minutes), Florence (1 hour), and Siena (1 hour) — with moments of pure relaxation in the cool, enclosed garden, which is also perfect for your four-legged friends. Here, you can read in the shade of the olive trees, enjoy al fresco dinners, and soak up the peaceful silence of the Tuscan countryside.
Evenings naturally become convivial moments centred around food and wine, surrounded by nature. For tennis enthusiasts, or simply for those looking to have fun with friends, a private tennis court is available approximately 800 metres from the farmhouse and can be used by reservation. FIRST FLOOR: Accessible via an external staircase, the first floor features a bright dining room with fireplace and sofa, opening onto a pergola furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining.
From the dining room you enter the kitchen, a bathroom with shower, one twin bedroom, two double bedrooms, and a second bathroom with shower. GROUND FLOOR: with independent entrance: bathroom with shower and washing machine. AMENITIES: - Refrigerator with freezer, oven, dishwasher, moka, American coffee maker, toaster - Washing machine, iron and ironing board, highchair, hairdryer - TV, Wi-Fi Internet connection, air conditioning - Barbecue, wood-burning oven, table tennis INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Tennis court available all year round. Wood for fireplace. Bed linen and bathroom towels. Garden maintenance. One baby bed and High Chair (for children up to 3 years) on request at time of booking. NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Breakage deposit Euro 400 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. Air conditioning Euro 1 per Kwh (if used). Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 10 each per day and includes also a kennel, bowls for water and food and a pet toy. Swimming towels on request Euro 4 each. Tourist Tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only, children up to 14 years do not pay. It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.

Das Haus war super schön, schöner großer Garten und Terrasse. Nicht weit vom Ort. Der Vermieter war jeden Tag vor Ort, da dort sein Weinkeller war und für uns dann immer erreichbar. Super nett und immer gab es ein paar Tipps. Sehr
empfehlenswert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
