The Le Boat Horizon 1 is a modern and stylish 2-cabin cruiser from our Premier range, where your accommodation travels with you, offering an extra level of comfort, space and thoughtful design for a truly special boating holiday. 

With light, airy interiors and premium touches throughout, it’s ideal for couples, families or friends looking to cruise in style as you cruise along peaceful waterways, discover charming waterside towns, and wake up somewhere new each day at your own pace.

A real highlight is the exceptional upper sundeck, created for making the most of life outdoors, with generous seating, sunbathing cushions, a dining table and a built-in BBQ hot plate — perfect for relaxed meals, sunny afternoons and evenings on the water. 

Inside, the bright saloon and kitchen area features panoramic windows and sliding rear doors, creating a seamless connection between indoor comfort and the surrounding scenery.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: You don't need any previous boating experience or licence to drive our boats—in fact, most of our guests are complete beginners; before you set off, our friendly base team provides a full hands-on briefing and practical demonstration where you’ll be shown everything you need to know to handle the boat safely and confidently, and we ensure you feel completely comfortable before leaving the marina.

ARRIVAL AND RETURN: Please arrive at our base between 3pm–5pm for check-in and a pre-departure briefing, after which you’re likely to leave the dock between 4pm–6pm—on the final day, you should return and vacate the boat by 9am.

• ‘Easy-park’ sideways thrusters at the front and rear, propelling the entire boat sideways to make mooring and manoeuvring smooth and very simple, even for first-time boaters
• Full-width rear bathing platform with deck shower and integral steps for easy water access and boarding
• Air-cooling for warmer days (not thermostatically controlled)
• Pets allowed for an additional cleaning supplement

FUEL: Before you set off, you'll need to leave an Fuel Deposit in local currency and then, at the end of your cruise, your Fuel Charge will be calculated based on the number of hours your engine has been running—you'll either be refunded the difference or asked to pay for any excess hours used (the hourly charge is estimated to be between £14-£28 / €12-€34 depending on boat type and usage).

DAMAGE DEPOSIT: You'll need to pay a refundable Damage Deposit at the base before you begin cruising which will be retained (in part or in full) when you return your boat; IF the boat or any of its equipment or inventory that has been damaged or lost, you will not have to pay more than the deposit collected. 

DAMAGE RISK REDUCTION: The amount of Damage Deposit required, and thus your liability, may be significantly reduced by purchasing a non-refundable Damage Risk Reduction, which can be purchased at the base when you pick up your boat.

Your boating holiday begins in Decize, a historic town where rivers and canals meet in the heart of Burgundy: Nivernais Loire. From here, you embark on a different way to explore France, travelling slowly through landscapes rich in heritage and flavour.

As you cruise, you can visit picturesque towns such as Auxerre, the largest city in the area, known for its striking cathedral, historic churches and charming old town filled with traditional timbered buildings. This region is renowned for its gastronomy and wine, and travelling by boat offers a wonderful opportunity to moor in lively riverside communities where markets, shops and French pâtisseries bring the streets to life. It is about enjoying the journey, wandering through winding streets, discovering local flavours and embracing the magic of boating at a gentle pace.
