The highlight of the villa is its heated rooftop mini pool, complete with sun loungers and a solarium, offering an unrivaled view of the sea.
The villa also features a panoramic veranda, ideal for relaxing breakfasts with sea views.
From here, large glass doors lead directly to the kitchen, filling the interiors with natural light and framing the sea horizon.
The villa’s interiors are finished with neutral tones, wood and rattan accents, creating a relaxing holiday vibe. Perfect for families and groups, Villa Maura accommodates up to 6 guests across three double bedrooms (2 with double beds and 1 with twin beds) and offers two modern and functional bathrooms. From sandy beaches to the baroque cities of Val di Noto From Villa Maura, you can easily walk to Fornace Penna, an iconic industrial archaeological site and famous filming location known as “La Mannara” from the TV series Inspector Montalbano.
It is one of the most evocative spots in the area: at sunset, the golden light illuminates the building and the cliff below, creating a stunning scene for photos and romantic moments. Beyond the Fornace stretches the long Punta Pisciotto beach, the charming fishing village of Sampieri.
Only a 5-minute drive away, you’ll find Marina di Modica, a Blue Flag sandy beach with beach clubs, restaurants, cafés and nightlife. We recommend renting a car to explore the beautiful baroque towns of Modica and Scicli, both featured in Montalbano and true gems of southeastern Sicily, rich in history, art and culture.
