Diamond Lodge is a romantic property in the village of Ingestre near Great Haywood, Staffordshire.
This lodge is perfect for a couple seeking a peaceful getaway, or as a bridal suite especially when booked with the three other adjacent Lodges. Step inside the charming ground floor of your holiday base and you’ll be welcomed into a bright, open space designed with both simplicity and character in mind. At its heart, two inviting armchairs provide the perfect spot to curl up with a good book or settle in for a film on the Smart TV, with a dining area for 4 next to the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a simple self-catered stay, whether that’s whipping up a hearty breakfast before setting off to explore or preparing a relaxed supper to share at the dining table. A sleek shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC completes the interior downstairs. First floor: Stairs up to the first floor which is full of character with cedar wood beams, high ceilings, large windows and huge gold curtains. There is a fabulous, comfortable King size bed, dressing table and rail for hanging clothes.
On the beam by the window, there is a gold rail to hang wedding dresses and veils to keep them off the floor. There is a refreshment area with coffee machine, kettle and milk frother and plenty of storage cupboards underneath. The bathroom is comfortable and chic with a L shaped bath and shower. Outside, there is a private arched porch and terrace with a shared woodland garden.
An ideal place to pause and take in the gentle charm of the countryside, with comfortable chairs and tables ready for al fresco moments, where you can enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh air or a glass of wine as the sun dips beyond the fields, rounding off your day in a truly serene setting. Diamond Lodge consists of a studio-style layout with a double bed, a kitchen with electric hob, microwave oven, fridge, kettle and toaster, a dining area, and a sitting area with a Smart TV, along with a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is a non-enclosed front garden shared courtyard with a picnic bench, and off-road parking for one car. Within 1.6 miles, you will find a shop and pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.
