Tucked away in the picturesque village of Beeston, Cheshire, Wheelwrights Cottage is a charming, semi- detached cottage offering a peaceful and characterful countryside escape, with beautiful views towards the magnificent Beeston Castle.
Dating back to the 1750s, the cottage beautifully combines historic charm with the comforts of a modern country retreat.
Original features, exposed beams and two open fires create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it just as lovely to stay in and relax as it is to head out and explore. The heart of the cottage is its welcoming kitchen and dining area, where you can enjoy leisurely meals together around the rustic dining table.
After a day exploring the countryside, return to the warmth of the sitting room, light the fire and settle in with a film on the Smart TV or curl up with a good book from the cottage's little corner library. Outside, the enclosed garden is a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee, an evening drink or simply sit and take in the peaceful surroundings.
One well-behaved pet is very welcome, making Wheelwrights Cottage an ideal countryside escape for both you and your four-legged companion. There is plenty to discover on foot from the cottage.
Wander through the beautiful surrounding countryside along the Sandstone Trail, take a stroll to the Pheasant Inn or The Dysart for a meal or drink. For those who enjoy history and beautiful places, spend some time exploring the historic Beeston Castle or Chester's historic City Walls offering even more to discover during your stay. Whether you're looking for a romantic countryside break, a relaxing family getaway or simply somewhere beautiful to slow down and enjoy the peace and quiet, Wheelwrights Cottage offers a cosy and memorable base from which to experience the very best of the Cheshire countryside.

This is a lovely place to stay and we will come back again. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There are plenty of places to visit nearby as well as restaurants and pubs.

We greatly enjoyed our New Year week, exploring the area. The property is attractive, and we were warm with the open fires despite very low temperatures. One bedroom is a twin and smaller than the other, and not en suite. However, we were very comfortable, and loved the views of Beeston Castle and c...
