Swallow Cottage is a well-presented holiday cottage located just outside of the charming village of Mawgan in Helston.
The friendly owners are pleased to introduce you to the rabbits, ducks and hens.Plenty of outdoor play space with swings, football goals, climbing frames, sandpit, picnic bench.Large games cabin (table tennis, pool table, games/toys, coin-operated tumble drier). With two bedrooms, this property sleeps four and has an enclosed patio and barbecue, making it a perfect base for families and friends seeking a holiday with their furry companion.
Step into a nicely-decorated, open-plan living space where you'll find everything you need to make your stay a pleasant one. Cuddle up by the open fire in the sitting area to watch something on the TV or sit around the dining table for a few rounds of card games.
Whilst your designated chef whips up a feast in the equipped kitchen, set up the table on the patio so you can enjoy some alfresco dining.
Then unwind with a steaming bath or shower and retreat to the bedrooms to rest for the night.
Explore your surroundings starting with a stroll around the stunning Trebah Gardens, visit Halliggye Fogou, an ancient cave thought to date from the 4th-century BC, then head to the quaint village of Mawgan for some delicious pub grub at The Ship Inn or stock up on some essentials at the village shop.
Head over to the lovely town of Helston and visit the Museum of Cornish Life for a taste of history, make your way to Flambards Theme Park for a thrilling day of fun and treat your loved ones to an indulgent meal at the American-themed diner Boo Koos.
Take the scenic route to the beautiful coastal town of Falmouth and spend the day lounging on Swanpool Beach, walk up to the show stopping Pendennis Castle and enjoy sweeping views of the ocean at Pendennis Point, end the day with a stroll and picnic at Queen Mary Gardens.

Swallow Cottage has two bedrooms; one double and one bunk, and a bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and WC. There’s an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, dining area and a sitting area with a TV and woodburning stove. Central heating, WiFi, fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Outside there’s off-road parking for two cars, and an enclosed patio with furniture and barbecue. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Nearest shop in 2.2 miles, pub in 2 miles, beach in 3.2 miles. Come and enjoy a peaceful stay at Swallow Cottage. Note: Due to free-range ducks and chickens this property cannot accept puppies. Note: No stag or hen parties or similar please.Note: Due to insurance requirements, the on-site play facilities are available for residents only.

Lovely small property with cosy open fire. Easy access to a creek walk and about 20mins from anywhere on the Lizard. Be aware it is down small lanes and recommend if you are cooking you buy everything at. Helston on way.
Great play barn with table tennis etc and a play field for kids
