Nature enthusiasts and amateur beekeepers (hives on site but well away), Elisabeth & Dominique open the doors to an authentic 19th century winegrowers' residence, carefully restored in an eco-construction spirit, nestled in the peace and quiet on the hillside, a stone's throw from the vineyards, in a peaceful residential area overlooking the village.
Nestled on the banks of the famous Canal du Centre in the hollow of the Dheune valley ("the ceramic valley" steeped in history), with many small shops (including a supermarket), a river marina & notable heritage (11th century Romanesque church, old tile factories, etc.), the village benefits from a superb preserved setting mixing vineyard hillsides, bucolic hedged meadows & beautiful wild forests, adjoining the sublime Couchois & Maranges vineyards, very close to Mont Rome (546m), a renowned climbing site & superb belvedere.

Nos hôtes nous ont accueilli en toute simplicité, sont très réactifs , sympathiques.. Nous ont donné des idées de randonnées ..Nous avons pu utiliser le bois nécessaire au chauffage- période relativement froide- vu que nous n'avons pas utilisé la pompe à chaleur par choix... Je recommande ce logement..

Super séjour (pluvieux) de 8 nuits en famille dans ce gite. Les propriétaires sont supers gentils. Petits présents de bienvenue et même un peu plus. Tout le materiel necessaire.
