This comfortable cottage, on the Wild Atlantic Way is located about 3 kilometres from the little Connemara Gaeltacht village of Kilkerrin on the Iorras Aithneach peninsula and hosts impressive views of Cheantar na Oileain.
Popular activities in the area include lake, river and sea fishing, walking, cycling, shooting, golf, pony trekking, and sailing.
Many more activities are available in the wider region, including hill walking, kayaking, surfing, boat trips, island trips and much more. Kilkerrin 3.0km, Carna 13.4km, Clifden 38.4km, Oughterard 38.7km, Letterfrack 45.7km, Galway city 65.5km, Westport 75.3km Facilities: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 8. A pristine property consisting of an entrance hall, sitting room with sea views, kitchen/diner, four bedrooms – one ensuite and one bathroom – all on one level. Entry from the front door, into a bright and airy hallway lead to a cosy living room with comfort seating, solid fuel stove and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
A spacious and fully equipped kitchen/diner with all your requirements for a comfortable self-catering stay to include gas oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster.
The adjoining utility room houses the washer and dryer and also a chest freezer. There are four bedrooms in the property.
Two bedrooms have double beds, One bedroom is a twin whereas the master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite with disabled accessible shower. . All bedrooms provide ample storage drawers and wardrobes.
A hairdryer is available.
The family bathroom completes the accommodation.
It has a bath, with shower overhead, WC and sink.
Outdoor seating is available, perfect for those relaxing evenings after a day out exploring the region, or to enjoy some daily outdoor dining.
The property is oil centrally heated throughout.
Electricity, heating and wi-fi are included in the rental price.
Towels and linens are provided.

Parking available for up to three cars.

We stayed here from July 13th-17th 2026 and the location was ideal for touring the amazing Connemara countryside.
