Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).

Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.

Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.

The apartment is located in the heart of the wonderful island of Ortigia, in a central street a few steps from the Temple of Apollo, one of the most important monuments of the city. In a few minutes on foot you can reach the daily market, a typical market full of local products and street food, where you can shop and taste local delicacies.

Walking through the streets of the island, it is possible to admire centuries of history, splendid palaces, lively trattorias and cafes, as well as other monuments such as the Castle of Maniace, the Fonte Aretusa and the Piazza del Duomo.

In the area it is possible to find many other services such as a bank, a post office, a minimarket, restaurants, bars, shops and much more.

- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service that connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where it is possible to take the regional train to Syracuse station, less than 20 minutes on foot from the property.

Alternatively, it is possible to reach the apartment from the airport by taking Interbus bus, up to Syracuse Station.
