The Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers this rustic chalet for rent in Cohennoz, in a natural area close to the mountain pastures and forest, with a view of the Aravis mountains and Mont Charvin. It measures 140 m² and can accommodate up to 8 travellers. Ideal for a return to basics or a moment out of time. The chalet comprises a large 80 m² living room opening onto a fitted kitchen, 4 bedrooms and a shower room. There is a garden of around 1,000 m². Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request, at extra cost.
The accommodation comprises
Basement:
- Bedroom 1: bunk bed (sleeps 2)
- Shower room
- Separate WC
- A utility room
Ground floor:
- Entrance to the chalet
- An 80 m² living room with armchairs, sofas, etc.
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, 2 induction hobs, etc.
- Dining area (large table with 8 chairs)
First floor:
- Bedroom 2: double bed
- Bedroom 3: double bed
- A lounge area with armchairs and a TV for watching DVDs (TV not connected to DTT)
- A corner that can be used as an office
Second floor:
- Bedroom 4 under the roof: 2 single beds joined together to form a double bed (accessible via a miller's ladder) and a small reading area.
Outside:
The unfenced garden and terrace are accessible from the ground floor (with furniture available in summer).
The chalet is located in a very peaceful setting, at the foot of hiking trails and 10 minutes' drive from Espace Diamant and its resorts. You can enjoy all the essential shops but also boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets about ten minutes by car.
Public transport :
You can park close to the chalet, 50 m away (2 cars can park).
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Nearest train station: Albertville, about 17 km away
- Nearest airport: Chambéry, about 1 hour 10 minutes away
- Bus service to Ugine
Other important information :
- Chalet heating: wood-burning stove and electric radiators for the bedrooms.
- The shower room is old and heated by an oil-fired stove.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request, at an additional cost (hire and payment to be made with our partner on site). Prices given are for information only and are subject to change by our partner. 2-person bed kit 36€; 1-person bed kit 18€; towel kit 10€ per person.
- Toddlers are welcome (high chair and playpen available), but the chalet is not secure enough for them to be left unsupervised by adults.
- The chalet does not have a wifi box
- Pets are allowed in the accommodation free of charge. 1 pet accepted by default.
- Very steep staircase to 2nd floor, not suitable for small children, elderly or people with reduced mobility.
- Balustrade overlooking the living room. Not suitable for small children left unsupervised.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use.
