To ensure a comfortable stay, professional pest control services treat the interior and exterior every two months. However, during peak seasons, you may still encounter ladybugs or stink bugs inside the home. Naturally, the outdoor environment sees fluctuations in insect activity throughout the year, which remains beyond our control. Many guests describe this secluded property as magical, embracing the beauty of nature—though, as much as we might wish otherwise, nature ultimately decides its course.

*** Pool Note - The weather in upstate NY can be quite unpredictable, and we do have a service that maintains the pool weekly, ensuring it is clean and that the chemical levels are properly balanced but unfortunately, the continuous rain we've experienced can disrupt the chemical balance. We do supply a pool Dolphin that can be used. Given that the low temperatures at times (even overnight dipping in the 40s and 50s), running the pool heater continuously will not raise the temperature to 85 degrees, as the weather isn’t conducive for maintaining warmth for extended periods.
