Sandrock Springs is a small but beautiful, cosy chocolate box cottage nestled into the village of Northchapel.
With captivating interiors and a truly quintessential, English feel, this property is an ideal base for a couple looking for a getaway to Midhurst, Cowdray Polo, wellness events, Petworth House, stroll through Petworth Park to watch the 1000 head of deer, and many cycle paths through South Downs National Park.
The kitchen is small but efficient.
The property is best experienced as a base for outdoor walks, antique shopping in Petworth, excellent and wide choice of pubs, and the sporting and cultural events.
There are many excellent local pubs to try. Enter into this property through an iron gate, making your way through the cottage garden to discover a sitting area which is ideal for morning coffee in the sunshine, as you plan the day ahead of you. Once inside, discover a living area with glowing open fire adding ambience, and simply gorgeous wallpaper and furniture, making this a characterful space to recline.
The kitchen houses an Electric Aga and stable doors to allow in the countryside air. Northchapel is a quaint village settled into the lovely South Downs National Park.

Sandrock Springs, a cottage consists of a kitchen with Electric AGA, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washer-dryer combi and a living room with TV and open fire. The bedroom is a king-size. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC. Outside, there is a front non-enclosed patio and lawn with furniture. Off-road parking for one car. Shop and pub 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Sorry, no smoking. Enjoy a memorable escape to Sussex at Sandrock Springs. Note: Steep stairs, not suitable for those with mobility concerns. PLEASE NOTE: Property accepts stays with a minimum duration of 3 nights and there must be a 3-day gap in between bookings. Please note: The garden is not enclosed, so any dogs must be kept on leads outdoors - up to 2 dogs welcome.

I had a perfect stay at Sandrock: the cottage was perfect for my needs and was exactly as described. The location is lovely. The host could not have been more friendly and was extremely helpful - many thanks for being welcoming and accommodating!

Wanted my wife to experience an English Cottage in a beautiful setting and it passed with flying colors.
The local countryside is stunning with many other attractive villages within 30 minutes such as Shere where the film The Holiday was filmed, Goodwood Festival of Speed isn’t too far, Arundel Castle too.
The owner is a great and is very helpful.
