We are offering this charming house for rent in the village of Le Tholy, featuring mountain views, a jacuzzi and a sauna.
It has a floor area of 100 m² and can accommodate up to 8 guests.
It comprises a lovely 30 m² living room (with an ethanol fireplace), a fully fitted kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms, two shower rooms, and a garden of approximately 900 m². Wi-Fi (fibre optic) is included – we’re just waiting for you! The accommodation is laid out as follows: On the ground floor: - A 30 m² living room with a sofa, rocking chair, armchair, TV and fireplace (first log free of charge) - A fully fitted kitchen including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, fondue and raclette set (with built-in crêpe maker)... - A dining room opening onto the terrace - A bathroom with shower and toilet Upstairs: - A study area on the landing - Bedroom 1: with a queen-size bed (160x200) and a chest of drawers - Bedroom 2: with a double bed (140x190) and a wardrobe - Bedroom 3: with a double bed (140x190) and a queen-size bed (160x200) on the mezzanine.
A catamaran-style net serves as a safety feature and can be used for lounging - A bathroom with shower and toilet Outdoors: - An annexe with a hot tub available all year round (maximum 5–6 people), a sauna, a shower, a toilet and a relaxation area.
This annexe is available as an optional extra, to be paid for on arrival: €150 per stay. - A beautiful, open private garden of 900 m² (on a slope) where you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the valley and the village - A 45 m² south-west-facing terrace with outdoor furniture to enjoy the fine weather The house is ideally situated in Le Tholy, in a very pleasant setting.
Nearby, you’ll find a bakery, a tobacconist’s and a bar… Activities: - Cross-country and downhill skiing - Hiking - Mountain biking - Outdoor adventure activities such as zip-lining and tree-top adventure courses - La Merelle Observatory - Renowned farm inns serving regional specialities - Water sports on Lake Gérardmer - Angling - Access to the Ballon des Vosges Nature Park - Spa resorts, from 30 km away - The Daffodil Festival in Gérardmer in April. - International ‘Fil Fantastique’ Festival in Gérardmer in January–February - Nordic Mountain Huts Night - The ski slopes are 13 km away.
The easiest way to get there is by car: a 15–20-minute journey.
Alternatively, you can get there by bus: there is one bus service between Le Tholy and Gérardmer town centre, and a free shuttle bus between Gérardmer town centre and La Mosellaine ski resort: the journey takes about 1 hour. Transport: If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the property’s private car park, which can accommodate 3 small vehicles or 2 large vehicles.
For any additional vehicles, a free public car park with electric charging points is available 300 m from the accommodation. As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful: - Nearest railway station: Épinal, 30 km away (30 mins by car) - Nearest airport: Épinal, 73 km away (1 hour by car) - Bus: Le Tholy is served by a bus route connecting Épinal to Gérardmer Other notes: - This is an ethanol fireplace.
The first fire is provided free of charge (1 litre of ethanol for approximately 45 minutes of burning time) - The pizza oven and ethanol fireplace are for use by adults only - The mezzanine is not recommended for unaccompanied children under 8 years of age - Free Wi-Fi available (fibre optic) - The fire extinguisher is located in the garage - End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests.
Please leave it in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use. - Pets are permitted on request, subject to a supplement of €15 per stay (only one pet allowed); please specify this when booking - Bed linen and towels are not included but can be provided on request at an additional cost (to be arranged and paid for with our partner on site). Het terras met het geweldige uitzicht.
Jammer dat het lakenpakket (en handdoeken) niet zijn inbegrepen. Is best prijzig om extra te huren. Komt bovenop de niet geringe huurprijs Het terras is geweldig maar kussens voor de tuinstoelen zou comfortabeler zijn.

La terrasse et la pergola. La vue. L’espace et le confort du chalet en générai.
Les contacts très agréables avec Monsieur Richard, sa disponibilité.
Le wifi est très instable, ce qui a été vraiment un problème.
Un regret, ne pas avoir pu profiter de l’espace bien être en raison de la sécheresse. Notre hôte nous a bien expliqué la situation dès notre premier contact.

Très bon séjour dans ce chalet ! Je recommande, le logement est conforme à la description et aux photos, nous avons préféré nous garer sur le parking public à 300m au vu de la forte pente devant la maison, mais pas dérangeant.
