In Lemmer, Blokzijl and Urk, you will find old buildings and harbours, but you can also enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants or on the cosy terraces. Fancy a day of swimming? Then visit indoor swimming pool Bosbad in Emmeloord. For a day on the water, the Venice of the North, Giethoorn, is highly recommended. Whether you go for a whisper boat, canoe or a tour by canal boat: this village is most beautiful when viewed from the water.
