Sheepfold Barn welcomes you into the impressive entrance hallway with feature galleried landing and vaulted ceiling.
There is plenty of space for coats, boots and walking gear here, or you can pop them in the utility cloak room. It is easy to make yourself at home, relax and recharge in the comfort of the spacious lounge area.
There is warm lighting, three plush sofas to curl up on, and a Smart TV to enjoy your favourite show or film in the evenings. New: Enjoy Sheepfold Barn's premium, upgraded underfloor heating system.
This has always been a beloved feature of the property, so we've made it even better! To the back of the property is the large, sociable kitchen-diner with island unit and bar stools.
There is everything you need and more; butler's sink, fridge-freezer, wine cooler, range cooker, and dishwasher.
Throw together a feast, then dine overlooking the fabulous uninterrupted views. There is a boutique-style WC and basin on the ground floor. Sheepfold Barn has four beautiful, individually-styled bedrooms. On the ground floor, you'll find a king-sized bedroom, complete with en-suite. Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms: one room has a superking bed and en-suite shower room; the next has a king-size bed, again with en-suite shower room, and finally is the bunk bedroom, ideal for younger members of the group. Each bedroom will be made up with luxury crisp white bed linen and towels for your arrival. Outside there is a large gravel parking area for a number of vehicles, a patio area with table and chairs for al-fresco dining on an inviting summer's day, overlooking the large lawned garden and a hot tub. Complimentary WiFi is provided. Motherby sits ideally between the neighbouring towns of Keswick and Penrith.
Private, without the business of central Keswick, but with the practicality of non-tourist-filled Penrith nearby, Motherby is the perfect location for a Lake District escape. We'd recommend visiting Motherby by car, though it is possible to arrive via train at Penrith North Lakes railway station and use a local taxi service to reach Sheepfold Barn. There's plenty to do in and around Motherby, but we'd recommend Rheged Discovery Centre, with variable exhibitions, and plenty to do for visitors of all ages, including activities, shopping, and eating (and who doesn't love that?)

Converted recently to an exacting standard, this stunning bespoke barn conversion is situated in a stand alone position and enjoys outstanding uninterrupted countryside views, with a hot tub included!

Sheepfold barn is a wonderful house in a very private location. Our neighbours were the sheep and cows grazing on the local land. It is conveniently situated between Keswick and Penrith with shot drives to many popular Fells. We celebrated my wife’s birthday in style! And the views from the Jacuzzi were epic. Didn’t want to get out.

A beautiful house in a wonderful location. The listing mentioned a fireplace but there wasn’t a fire in the property which was disappointing but didn’t detract from a lovely stay.
