Listen to silence, enjoy your vacation, experience nature at Hintersee! Our ***Hotel-Gasthof Wörndlhof - The Refuge is located at the entrance of the Alpine National Park Berchtesgaden. Our cozy & lovingly furnished rooms with magnificent mountain views, combined with a family-friendly environment and good food, offer you the comfort you need to relax. Numerous hiking trails start in front of our house and lead you to the most beautiful peaks and alpine pastures of our region. From May to October we will spoil you with culinary delights from our down-to-earth Bavarian-Styrian cuisine with mainly regional products in our comfortably furnished restaurant. When the weather is nice you can enjoy the time on our chestnut terrace. In winter we offer only overnight stay with breakfast buffet.

Rund um unseren Wörndlhof gibt’s jede Menge zu entdecken – und das Beste: Alles ist ganz in der Nähe! Wandere durch die beeindruckende Wimbachklamm bis zum idyllischen Wimbachschloss oder schnapp Dir den Sessellift am Hochschwarzeck und genieße den Ausblick vom Toten Mann. Ein Ausflug nach Schönau am Königssee lohnt sich immer – vor allem mit einer Bootsfahrt zur berühmten Wallfahrtskirche St. Bartholomä. Vom Jenner oder der Rossfeld-Panoramastraße aus hast Du außerdem einen unglaublichen Blick über das ganze Berchtesgadener Tal. Wenn Du Lust auf Kultur hast, schau im königlichen Schloss Berchtesgaden oder im Haus der Berge vorbei. Geschichte hautnah erlebst Du beim Besuch des legendären Kehlsteinhauses, ganz entspannt mit dem Bus erreichbar. Für entspannte Stunden sind die Watzmann-Therme oder Rupertus-Therme genau das Richtige – oder Du genießt eine Vorstellung im Bauerntheater. Und richtig spannend wird’s im Salzbergwerk Berchtesgaden mit der interaktiven SalzZeitReise – perfekt für Groß und Klein!
