The renovated flat has a new fully-equipped kitchen with adjoining living room and terrace; at the same time, the kitchen leads to a bright bathroom (special collection of the Saarland-based Villeroy & Boch works) with bathtub and shower. The cosy living room offers a 140cm wide double sofa bed, a 50° TV and direct access to the partially covered terrace and the inner courtyard, which is sheltered from view. To the right of the entrance you will find a study and a separate bedroom with a 200x200cm solid wood bed and a ceiling with stucco work.
We welcome you to a former farm property dating from 1905, consisting of a restored, modernised sandstone farmhouse with a spacious, cosy courtyard and adjoining courtyard complex.
We live in and restore the courtyard complex ourselves as a young couple in the 4th generation and combine the existing building structure with French flair.
Situated in a quiet side street, the historic country house is adjoined by an extensive pasture landscape with fruit trees and native wildlife. The courtyard offers a sheltered retreat for breakfast in the morning sun, for barbecuing in the evening or for playing games together with children (badminton, basketball, pétanque, board games etc. are available).
Due to its generous and harmonious design, the entire property and the holiday flat exude a feel-good atmosphere with a special charm.
The flat is accessible via its own entrance (wide staircase on the left side of the house) and consists of a beautifully renovated, spacious flat with high ceilings in an old building, partly stucco work, wooden beams and wooden floorboards.
On the street side, the flat forms the 1st floor of the house and is therefore not directly visible from the street. The inner courtyard, which is located to the rear, is protected from view, has greenery and can be accessed directly via the terrace of the flat.
Due to the partial roofing, the spacious terrace can be used all year round, very much enjoying a glass of wine in the fresh air during a summer rain.
The flat can be rented either in the living-dining room combination with double sofa bed (50 m²) or as a spacious flat including a study and exclusive bedroom (sleeps four, 80 m²).
The living/dining room combination with double sofa bed is standard for a booking of 2 persons, and for a booking of 3 persons or more, the large flat variant with study and a further, separate bedroom is automatically provided.
Of course, it is also possible to rent the entire flat alone or as a couple. Please select "3 persons" as the number of persons.

Vehicles can be parked on the property; there are lockable parking facilities for motorbikes and bicycles.
Worth knowing:
The train station in Wustweiler is only about 350 m away on foot. From there there is a direct connection to Saarbrücken as well as to many other places in the Saarland.
Due to the very central location, all places in the Saarland can be reached by car within about 30 minutes (state capital Saarbrücken, stadium of the national football league club SV Elversberg, world cultural heritage Völklinger Hütte, Bostalsee, Saarschleife, Polygon, Villeroy und Boch, Castle restaurant Illingen etc.).
A wide selection of grocery shops, bakeries and local eateries are only a five-minute drive away.
