When staying here, you are able to spend lazy days on the nearby beaches, dine at the atmospheric marina or explore historic towns and cities such as Sava and Taranto.
This recently renovated house has plenty of space for a large family or maybe two families travelling to Italy together. There are five bedrooms available here spread over the two floors; on the ground floor there is a bedroom with a king-sized bed which offers a disability adapted bathroom, and a bedroom with twin beds, which is served by a large family bathroom. There is also a chill out room for the kids with a double sofa bed that can sleep a further two guests. Upstairs on the first floor there are three more bedrooms; two of these boast king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms, with the remaining room offering two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. Each floor has access to outdoor space, so you can take your morning coffee out on the terrace or balcony to enjoy a little peace and quiet.
When your party wish to come together for lunch or to sip a glass of wine in the evenings, you can all meet in the large living room or in the adjacent kitchen and dining area. You can opt to sink in to the comfy sofas and chat or dine together at the large dining table. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you could need for preparing drinks or sumptuous meals, but if you would prefer to sit back and relax, you could book the services of a private chef.
With stunning sea views available from the garden, you will wish to spend much of your time outdoors soaking in the views and feeling the cooling sea breeze in the air. The outside space is made up of a large ground floor terrace with a dining area and a jacuzzi which can either be heated or kept cool for a refreshing dip. From this terrace you are just a few steps away from a lovely beach, the home comes equipped with kayaks, beach games and snorkelling equipment so that you can spend fun-filled days at the beach with everything you could need on hand. On the first floor you can access a balcony and on the roof there is a vast terrace which is ideal for sunbathing.
In addition to the beach next to the home, you are just a short stroll away from Montedarena Beach which is much larger and has sandy and stone areas, a beach club where you can rent sun loungers and parasols plus access to eateries. There are also a number of cafes, bars and restaurants close to the villa.
In order to learn more about the history of the area or to discover a great range of shops and restaurants, you should spend the day in the city of Taranto which is 20km away. In the bustling coastal city has lots to see and do including an imposing castle, some incredible museums and markets which fill the streets and squares.

If you prefer to explore a large, busy city which is packed with shops, restaurants and historic attractions, Taranto is a fantastic choice. Set 20km away by car, Taranto is a stunning coastal city with a rich history of wars and conquest, the city is still used today for naval protection as you will see from the ships and submarines in the expansive naval port. The city is enclosed by two separate bays so is known locally as “the city of the two seas” the Mar Grande is a commercial port, so you are more likely to spend time around Mar Piccolo which backs on to the old town. As you stroll around the city you will notice the mixture of architecture left behind by the numerous settlers; Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Norman design details and monuments are scattered around the city. The 11th century Cattedrale di San Cataldo and the staggering Aragonese Castle are some of the city’s highlights.
