Located on the plateaux of Thiers, (Borbes tourist circuit) in the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, the former Faux Martel estate was refurbished in 2016 into a gîte.
Quiet and peaceful and just 5 km from the city center, the rural and natural environment is preserved with an unobstructed view of the Chaine des Puys (UNESCO listed).
The estate is classified as a refuge by the LPO for protection and observation birds.
Terraced house with another gîte.
On the ground floor: living room with wood stove, kitchen / dining room with insert and access to the south-facing terrace.
On the 1st floor: 1 bedroom with 1 160 cm bed (or 2 80 cm beds), 1 bedroom with 1 160 cm bed and 1 single bed, shower room / wc.
Large adjoining unfenced land with terrace ideal for dining outside.
Heating thanks to a wood stove and a fireplace (free wood) and electric heating according to consumption (around 50 € per week in winter).
Non-smoking gîte.
Ideal spot to discover the Auvergne, hiking trail, mountain bike circuits, equestrian tourism, swimming in the outdoor activities center of Iloa and Saint Remy lake at 15 min.
Shops ans activities in Thiers: Coutellia art knife festival, Pamparina, visit of the medieval city, the Manufactures' Valley, cutelry museum, centre of contemporary art...Access by motorway Thiers East and West at 15 min.
Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand at 40 min, Lyon at 1h15.
Internet access 10€/week.Possibility to rent with the gîte n°1254 for 4 people.

Aufgrund der höheren Lage angenehmes Schlafen auch im Hochsommer;naturverbundene Bauernhof-Atmosphäre, sogar mit wohlerzogenem Hofhund!Riesiges Grundstück mit Obstbäumen und einem Aussichtsplatz mit fantastischem Blick auf den Puy-de-Dome.Einzige Schwierigkeit ist ein unsicheres WLAN.

Nous avions loué deux des trois gîtes du domaine. Les deux gîtes sont bien équipés et très agréables à vivre. Le cadre est magnifique avec une vue sur la chaîne des dômes. La rénovation est vraiment très réussie.Nous avons passé un merveilleux Noël en famille.Nul doute que nous reviendrons !

Séjour dans un cadre particulièrement agréable, ecellente situation du gîte et vue magnifique sur la chaîne des Puys.Séjour reposant dans le grand calme de la campagne.En cette période hivernale, nous avons goûté l'agrément du feu de cheminée.
