From old to new! With this in mind, in 2023, a "rudere", a dilapidated farmhouse, was turned into Casetta Lupo, a holiday home with all kinds of comfort. In marvelous panoramic location on the coast of Lucania (Basilicata), it invites you to spend unforgettable holidays in the authentic south of Italy. A highlight you can also look forward to – a large infinity pool for shared use.

URLAUB AM TYRRHENISCHEN MEER
Die Küste Marateas stellt einen einzigartigen Landstrich am Tyrrhenischen Meer dar. Umgeben von kristallklarem Wasser, schwarzen Stränden und üppiger Vegetation liegt das berühmte Bergstädtchen Maratea. Idyllisch und doch unglaublich lebendig.

FERIENHAUS MIT PANORAMA-TERRASSE
Nicht weit von Maratea entfernt liegt die Casetta Lupo - ein traumhafter Rückzugsort zwischen Meer und Bergen. Erst 2023 komplett restauriert, erstrahlt das alte Bauernhäuschen nun als modernes und gemütliches Ferienhaus. Die Casetta ist klein aber fein und eignet sich perfekt für einen Urlaub als Paar. Zusätzlich kann das Sofa im Wohnzimmer als Schlafgelegenheit für zwei weitere Personen genutzt werden.

Die gut ausgestattete Küche lädt dazu ein, sich kulinarisch auszuprobieren. Von hier betritt man die Panorama-Terrasse, auf der Sie vor dem Essen, ganz nach italienischer Art, einen Aperitivo mit Meerblick genießen können. Dank der Ausrichtung der teils überdachten Terrasse können Sie während Ihres Aufenthaltes wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge erleben.

ABKÜHLUNG IM INFINITY POOL
Ein weiteres Highlight der Casetta Lupo ist der fast 17 Meter lange Pool mit einer Maximaltiefe von 2,20 Metern. Dieser Pool steht Ihnen und den in Rom lebenden Eigentümern zur gemeinsamen Nutzung zur Verfügung, die jedoch nur sporadisch zu Besuch in Maratea sind.

Auf dem sehr weitläufigen, terrassierten Gelände befindet sich die Casetta auf dem höchsten Punkt des Anwesens. Der Pool und das Ferienhaus der Eigentümer liegen auf der Ebene unterhalb der Casetta Lupo. Die Anordnung garantiert den Gästen absolute Privatsphäre im und am Haus. Auch vom Pool ist das Haus der Eigentümer aufgrund der Distanz und der Vegetation nur partiell einsehbar.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Nutzung des Pools, ebenso wie Spaziergänge auf dem Gelände stets auf eigene Gefahr erfolgen.

PARKEN AUF DEM GRUNDSTÜCK
Wer in der Casetta Lupo seinen Urlaub verbringen möchte, ist vor Ort auf einen PKW angewiesen. Es ist zu beachten, dass man aktuell mit dem Auto nicht direkt bis an das Haus fahren kann. Ein Parkplatz steht auf dem umzäunten Gelände unterhalb des Pools zur Verfügung. Von dort ist ein Fußweg mit ca. 30 Höhenmetern Unterschied bis zum Haus zurückzulegen.

Bei An-und Abreise wird das Gepäck vom Verwalter der Casetta Lupo bis zum Haus bzw. bis zum Wagen gebracht. Auch größere Einkäufe können nach vorheriger Absprache mit dem Verwalter durch ihn vom Parkplatz zum Haus transportiert werden.

IN DER UMGEBUNG DER CASETTA LUPO
Nur einen Kilometer von dem Ferienhaus entfernt liegt der Strand von Cersuta. Weniger als zehn Minuten Autofahrt von der Casetta entfernt liegen der Hafen von Marina di Maratea und einige der schönsten Strände an dieser Küste. Zu diesen zählen Acquafredda, Fiumicello und Porto.

Die historische Altstadt von Maratea mit der berühmten Christusstatue ist ca. 7,5 Kilometer entfernt. Nur einen Katzensprung vom Haus entfernt befindet sich das Ristorante Da Cesare, in dem man sowohl mittags als auch abends köstlich speisen kann.

HOLIDAYS ON THE TYRRHENIAN SEA
Maratea’s coastal stretch on the Tyrrhenian Sea is unique. Around the famous, small mountain town of Maratea, you find crystal clear waters, black beaches and lush vegetation. Idyllic, yet unbelievably lively.

HOLIDAY HOME WITH PANORAMA TERRACE
Not far from Maratea lies Casetta Lupo – a gorgeous retreat between sea and mountains. Completely restored in 2023, the small, old farmhouse now awaits you in new splendor as a modern and cozy holiday home. With its double bedroom, bathroom (shower/WC/bidet; hair dryer), living-dining room and kitchen, the Casetta is a lovely and perfect accommodation for a couple. The sofa in the living-dining room could be used as a sleeping facility for another two persons.

The well-appointed kitchen (incl. dishwasher, gas stove, fridge-freezer, capsule coffee machine, microwave, toaster, electric kettle) invites you to have a go at culinary experiments. It opens onto the panorama terrace, where, before dinner and completely Italian style, you can enjoy an aperitivo with sea view. The partly roofed terrace is also a perfect place to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets over the sea.

Furnishing of Casetta Lupo includes mosquito nets in the bedroom, washing machine, WiFi and air conditioning, outdoor furniture and grill.

COOLING OFF IN THE INFINITY POOL
Another highlight at Casetta Lupo is the pool with nearly 17 m in length and a maximum depth of 2.20 m. The pool is shared by the guests staying at Casetta Lupo and the owners, who live in Rome and stop at Maratea only every now and then.

The Casetta is located on the highest point of the rambling, terraced premises. The pool and the owners’ holiday home lie on the level below Casetta Lupo. Due to the layout, you are sure to have your privacy in and around the house. Even from the pool, the owners’ house is only partially visible, given the distance and the vegetation.

Please mind that the use of the pool and walks around the premises are at your own risk.

PARKING ON THE PROPERTY
When vacationing at Casetta Lupo, you need a car on site. Please mind that at the moment you cannot drive right up to the house. Parking is available on the fenced property, below the pool. From there, you have to follow a footpath up to the holiday home (ca. 30 m difference in altitude).

Upon arrival / at departure, the caretaker of Casetta Lupo will take your luggage to the house / to your car. Upon prior agreement, the caretaker will also help you with larger shopping, i.e. take it from the parking place up to the house.

IN THE SURROUNDINGS OF CASETTA LUPO
The beach of Cersuta is only 1 km from the holiday home and it is less than 10 min. by car to the harbor of Marina di Maratea and to some of the most beautiful beaches along this coast. The latter include Acquafredda, Fiumicello and Porto.

The historic Old Town of Maratea, watched over by the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, is ca. 7.5 km off. Only a stone’s throw from Casetta Lupo lies Ristorante Da Cesare, where you can treat yourself to delicious meals both at noon and in the evening.
