A simple stone house in a dream location, on the cliffs right next to the famous Ciolo fjord.
Anyone driving along the coastal road would not expect a house here - and yet it is here, nestled against the rocks, and awaits you for a break with breathtaking sea views, maximum privacy - and a heated outdoor jacuzzi (up to max. 40 °C) directly next to the house.
The very fast wifi connection (up to 300 Mbit/s download, up to 50 Mbit/s upload speed, more details below) makes this place ideal to work remotely.
The house consists of a living room with a small, open kitchen, a bathroom with shower and an air-conditioned double bedroom.
The kitchen has a gas stove, fridge with freezer compartment and a small dishwasher.
The sofa in the living room can be used as a sofa bed and has a pull-out bed (ideal for max. 2 people).
The outdoor terrace with fantastic views over the Adriatic Sea - on a clear day as far as Albania or the Greek islands of Othoni and Corfu - is equipped with outdoor furniture and invites you to al fresco dining.
There is a barbecue, an outdoor shower and an external jacuzzi that can be used all year round on request (additional charge €120 for the preparation + €15/day).
You're renting the whole property just for you: the small square stone building you can see on the picture is not used and not accessible.
A path leads directly below the house over the cliffs to the sea; it is only a few meters, but sandals or shoes are recommended.
Access to the sea is ideal for swimming or fishing.
Access is at your own risk and is not recommended for young children, the elderly or people with walking disabilities.
An easier access is just a few minutes walk away, in the famous Ciolo fjord.
There are several restaurants and supermarkets, a few minutes' drive away.
Long, golden sandy beaches are in the area around Pescoluse and can be reached in about 15-20 minutes by car.
If you like rowing, you can bring your boat and explore the sea caves in the area right from your house.
Note: The house has private parking on the coastal road, access to the property is via a partly steep stone staircase (approx. 40 steps). 🛏️ Sheets, duvets and towels are not included.
If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €26 per person. 🧽 Final cleaning is not included and costs €100, unless you clean yourselves before departure. 🐶 Dogs and pets are welcome, if you inform us in advance! Surcharge: €150 for the 1st one, €75 each for the others.
Usually max 1 large or 2 small ones are allowed, but exceptions might be possible upon request. 💰 We will ask you to pay a security deposit of €600 before arrival.
The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage. ⚡ Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption.

Zo juist teruggekomen van een geweldig verblijf in La Tana del Polpo (Gagliano del Capo). Dit prachtig gelegen vakantiehuis biedt alles wat nodig is om een vakantie te laten slagen. Het uitzicht is adembenemend mooi, de jacuzzi een ware weldaad, het huisje biedt alle comfort die nodig is en bijzonde...
De trappen zijn heftig.

La casa è disposta bene e ben attrezzata. La vista è spettacolare. La piscina riscaldata è super.
Direi nulla, solo il piccolo inconveniente del codice x l'apertura della cassetta al nostro arrivo e li scaldabagno non subito funzionante.
