Woodland Escape Cabin – Your Idyllic Welsh Getaway
Tucked away in the heart of the stunning Welsh countryside, Woodland Escape is a charming retreat with breathtaking views — best enjoyed from your own private hot tub.
Set on a popular and well-maintained site, the cabin offers an exceptional outdoor space complete with a decked seating area for alfresco dining, a cosy fire pit (perfect for toasting gooey marshmallows), and of course, the exclusive hot tub for ultimate relaxation.
For families, there’s also a dedicated children's play area nearby, guaranteed to keep the little ones entertained for hours. Inside, the open-plan living and kitchen area welcomes you with on-trend furnishings and a bright, spacious layout designed for comfort and connection. The modern kitchen features sleek light grey cabinetry with copper accents, a striking tile-effect splashback, under-cabinet LED lighting, and a long counter top perfect for delicious meal prep.
You'll find all the essentials, including an integrated microwave, under counter fridge with freezer box, two burner gas hob with extractor and a domestic style sink — ideal for rustling up family favourites. The living area is centred around a large fixed L-shaped sofa with scatter cushions, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind in front of the TV. For larger groups, this area can be transformed into an extra-wide sleeping space to accommodate up to six guests (available for an additional fee). The dining area seats six comfortably around a free standing table — perfect for shared meals and memory-making.
By night, this space cleverly converts into a wall-mounted double bed, and above it, a mezzanine sleeping area (accessed via ladder) offers either a double or twin bed setup, making it flexible for couples or kids. The bathroom includes a spacious shower enclosure, electric heated towel rail, vanity unit with sink, dual flush WC, extractor fan, and shaver socket — everything you need to refresh after a day of adventures. We’re also excited to share that alpacas now call our site home! These gentle and friendly animals add a magical touch to your stay, delighting guests of all ages and making your getaway truly unforgettable. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape or an active holiday, Woodland Escape is perfectly located.
The charming market town of Rhayader is just a short drive away, offering great local dining and shops.
For nature lovers, Elan Valley and Gilfach Nature Reserve are nearby — ideal for walking, wildlife spotting, or simply breathing in the fresh Welsh air. Please be advised that there is a 10pm outdoor noise curfew.
This is a family-friendly property, and all guests are expected to respect the quiet hours to ensure the comfort of everyone on site.

Space for the chef is optimised with a long worktop surface, while quality appliances including an integrated microwave and under counter fridge with freezer box, two-burner gas hob with extractor fan and domestic style sink bowl with drainer provide everything you need for preparing family meals together.
The rear dining area has seating for up to six around a free standing table. At night, the space transforms for sleeping via a wall mounted pull-down double bed. Above the dining area is an upper bunk level which can be made up into a double or twin beds, featuring an access ladder.

Was very clean, the hot tube was amazing and the welcome hamper was lovely.
This is our first time coming here and we will definitely be back.
The host was lovely and replied quickly. I would 100% recommend this place if you want a peaceful and relaxing get away.
We could of stayed alot longer... the weekend went so fast.

Beautiful location and surrounding area and lovely stay. Shops about 15 minute drive away. Beds were comfy, however stairs are quite difficult to get up and down from so be aware. Provided majority of items needed. \r\nBathroom was lovely. Overall, lovely stay.

We went away for my Husband's birthday and the place was just amazing!\r\nIt was very clean, exactly like the photos. \r\nThe hot tube was clean and was so relaxing. \r\nIf your looking to get away for a few nights I would 100% recommend.
