Well-positioned in the village of Goosnargh, Lancashire amongst the pretty surroundings of the Forest of Bowland AONB, is this quaint single-storey holiday home, Oak Lodge.
Benefitting from an open-plan interior, homely décor throughout, as well as off-road parking and lakeside views, Oak Lodge welcomes four guests, perfect for friends or couples, to enjoy the ultimate escape to Lancashire.
Upon entering, be impressed by the light and airy open-plan living space complete with TV and electric fire, so you and your group may cosy up for an evening.
Allow the designated chef to become acquainted with a plethora of high-quality appliances in the kitchen, before rustling up a tasty feast for your party to consume either at the dining table or out on the private patio; catch up on the days adventures or plan for the days ahead as you saviour a late-night tipple.
Retreat to one of two thoughtfully-furnished bedrooms, comprising of a super-king-size and a twin (zip/link) each with en-suites, where you can wind down for the day in style and catch your sleep.

The living areas in the property have an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumbler dryer and dishwasher, a dining area with seating for four guests and a sitting area with TV and electric flame-effect fire. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size with TV and a twin (zip/link, can be twin on request), both with en-suite shower rooms. Outside there is an enclosed front decking area with furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 5.6 miles you will find a shop and a pub and within 0.1 miles, a lake and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. For a fabulous stay in Lancashire, any time of year, choose Oak Lodge. Note: Adult-only property. Please note: The fishery on site is not included but can be used at an additional cost. This can be booked directly with the owner. Monday-Friday check-ins only. Please Note: Fishing is available at a reduced rate of £10.00 per person, per day. (For lodge guests) Fishing allowed from dawn till dusk. Please let us know before your arrival.

We have stayed at Crammond cottages for many years, sometimes two or three times a year and have stayed in all three cottages. We love it there and my husband thoroughly enjoys the fishing. The owners are lovely people and we would have no hesitation in recommending Crammond Cottages.

Fantastic holiday home for our family break. Great attention to detail. I left some trainers at the cottage and they were returned by post to me, they couldn’t have done better. A big thanks from all of the family and look forward to a return visit.

Just back from a long weekends fishing at Woodfold. Stayed in Oak Lodge, really clean and well presented, 2 great walk in showers, comfortable king size beds and good WiFi. Fished 3 of the 5 pools available, caught a good variety of quality fish and pretty much had the pools to ourselves all day. Perfect location for a relaxing fishing break, will definitely be going back.
