The Moorings is situated on the waterfront of Conwy Marina, which is an ideal place for a water-based holiday in one of Wales' finest destinations. The beach, a golf course, a pub, and a small shop are all within walking distance of the property. Moreover, if you follow the coastal path, you will come across the Medieval walled town of Conwy, which is famous for its historical and cultural significance as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The wider Snowdonia area we refer to as Eryri, Llandudno, the Isle of Anglesey, and their numerous exciting activities can be easily accessed by a short drive, or walk in some cases.
This is a townhouse situated on the waterfront of Conwy Marina, with three floors of living space, it sleeps up to 7 people plus an infant in the provided cot. The property is an end-of-terrace and boasts a spacious interior. There are four bedrooms in total, with one located on the ground floor featuring a king-size bed, en-suite shower room, and access to an outdoor seating area. On the first floor, there is a large open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area that is L-shaped in design. From this level, you can enjoy picturesque views of the marina, the Conwy estuary, and Deganwy. With the mountains of Snowdonia National Park as a backdrop, Conwy Marina is an ideal base from which to explore the picturesque cruising grounds of the North Wales coast.
Located on the top level of the property are the other three distinctive bedrooms, including the luxurious master bedroom that features a king-sized bed, a scenic view of the marina, and a private en-suite shower room. Additionally, there is a twin bedroom that shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo, and a charming single bedroom that offers a picturesque view of the marina. Everything you need for a fantastic holiday is included. The property is well equipped a dishwasher, a fridge with an icebox, a washer/dryer, a combination microwave, a smart TV, a DVD player, a stereo system that includes a radio and a CD player, and outdoor furniture to enhance the enjoyment of the patio area that overlooks the marina.
Secure bicycle storage in the garage. Parking for two cars with one untethered Easee One 7kW EV charger (£35 charge for use of the charger and pro rata increase for bookings over a week).
Bed linen and towels are supplied.
Please note: there are external cameras installed at the rear and front of the property for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the house. Regrettably, the owner is unable to accept hen or stag parties.
The Conwy Valley is an intriguing area, very different to the rough, tough rocky mountains of neighbouring Snowdonia. The River Conwy flows through a broad, sheltered vale carpeted with rich farmland. It’s flanked on the west by thick forests and to the east by the heather moors and woods of Hiraethog (otherwise known as the Denbigh Moors), a huge expanse of unexplored upland. All in all, it’s an area of great variety, with tumbling falls, wooded gorges, mountain lakes, high moorland and a charming stretch of the North Wales coast. There’s also a great choice of places to stay – everything from traditional market towns and villages to seaside resorts.
