The moment we walked in to the house, it felt homely and welcoming. A lot of thought and care has clearly gone into making this a lovely experience. Our grandsons (2 and 6) loved the toybox - what a nice touch that was to have thought about young children.

We loved this house with its quirky nature and spacious, comfortable accommodation. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen in any holiday rental I've ever seen. There 's plenty of space for cooking and eating. The back garden is lovely and peaceful for relaxing. It's in a quiet cul de sac and the only noise is the RH&D train going past - but that's part of the fun.

We had an amazing family holiday. Aged between 3 and 85 years old and everyone had fun!!
The Jolly Boat was a beautiful property, clean and cosy and was much larger than it looks online. It has everything you should need and has a lovely garden to sit in and relax.
The location is great, quiet and peaceful but also close enough to beaches, pubs, shops and restaurants.
