It is conveniently close to the Silent Valley, a popular natural attraction.
The cottage features a range of modern amenities, providing a comfortable and inviting home away from home.
For added warmth during colder evenings, there is a wood-burning stove alongside central heating.
Please note that the cottage is located on a working farm, adding to its authentic rural experience. - Fully equipped kitchen. - Internet access & TV. - 2 bedrooms & 2 double beds. - 1 bathroom & 1 walk-in shower. - Linen and towels are included. - Free parking on the premises is available at the property.

Stayed 10-13 December, we feel so lucky to have found this property,Carol and Warren perfect hosts ,warm ,friendly and welcoming.We arrived to the stove lighting,Christmas decorations, homemade buns and fresh eggs,could not have done any more for us .Lovely rural location,a place to come back to ,many thanks 😊 Margaret and Martin Dublin.

if I'm honest I would have paid more for the accommodation, the host is amazing, she baked us some cakes and left out some food for us, lit the fire for us on arrival so the place was nice and warm. the location is spot on. there's plenty to do from walks to playing in the river. there's lots to do on those damp days in Newcastle, which it's just down the road.
I'll definitely be coming here again.

The little house is great for access to some wonderful Mourne hikes. It's exactly a 5 min drive to Little Carrick car park. The house is neighbors with cows, ducks, cats, sheep and a dog. We found it quite comfortable and asked & received a few more knives to carve pumpkins the day before Halloween. Lovely time we had. Would be happy to return.
