Dutch Cottage is a cute and quirky cottage sat on the water’s edge in the heart of Horning on the Norfolk Broads.
Built in 1934, in the traditional Dutch barn shape that has been completely renovated throughout, it’s light, airy and homely inside and French doors opening out to the garden and the water beyond. Situated in a tranquil location on a basin just off the main River Bure, but with the main river in view, so you can still sit and watch the world go by. There’s plenty of river frontage for fishing (in season), and plenty of garden for soaking up the sunshine and relaxing. Large patio area which is gated also to keep those little one's away from the water.
Just a short walk to all the amenities in Horning, including pubs, cafes, village shops, deli and restaurants. The Broadland town of Wroxham, ‘Capital of the Broads’ is just a 5 minute drive away.
Hire a boat with your cottage to make the most of your stay by exploring the beautiful Norfolk Broads.
PARENTS BEWARE – Unfenced river frontage (patio area is fenced).
STRICTLY a no smoking property. Smokers are allowed to smoke outside but not inside the house. Sorry no pets here.

Sleeps 4 + 2 - Dutch Cottage on Ferry Road in Horning is a lovingly updated cottage built in 1934 recently completely renovated throughout. This cottage sits on its own basin just off the main river but still with river views and walking distance from the Ferry Inn pub and just a short walk to the village amenities with the added benefit of views directly through the basin of the main river.

Needed a good clean there was mould in the bathroom and around the windows that would of easily come of with cif and a good scrub. Cobwebs and dusty given that we are in covid I would of expected a good deep clean.

Had a brilliant week In Dutch cottage at horning lovely villiage the cottage is absolutly amazing home from home comfort in beautiful surroundings.Everything you could wish for for a amazing holiday.

With one or two enhancements the property would be excellent, for example the bathroom has no hooks or shelving , one cupboard in the kitchen was full of stuff that earlier residents had left which in the present situation is not a good idea .Also there were no instructions for the microwave ,the oven and the t.v.
