Our rustic, cozy and privately run bed and breakfast will convince you not only by our spacious vacation apartments, but especially by our excellent location.Sports enthusiasts appreciate the sports field directly at the house, the Watzmanntherme within walking distance in less than 3min and the ice rink.Hiking and mountain enthusiasts can start many hikes directly at the house (Kneifelspitze,Obersalzberg etc.) but also all other mountain destinations are nearby.Young families, seniors and spa guests appreciate the immediate location to many excursion destinations, such as the salt mine with the salt healing gallery (5min. walk), the Obersalzbergbahn with summer toboggan run (10min walk) or the center "market" with the House of Mountains, many restaurants and shopping opportunities.Also the Hofbräuhaus Berchtesgaden is only 5 minutes walk away, so you can enjoy the well-known good beer carefree.The bus stop "Watzmann Therme" with direct connection to the Mozart city Salzburg reach you in 3min. (Line 840).In addition, our spacious terraces and the well-kept garden invite you at any time to do nothing and relax. No matter what type of vacation you are, our guests come from all ages and walks of life, and this mixture provides a pleasant balance, exchange and harmony. In the evening, you can end eventful days in a cozy atmosphere in the Stüberl with winter garden. The hosts are available for hiking and ski touring tips and tour suggestions. Breakfast can be booked on site (15€ per person/day).
Environment description
Very central location in a side street between the Watzmanntherme spa (200m walk) and the
Salt mine with the salt healing gallery (500m walk) exactly opposite the "Breitwiese" sports field. The
Hofbrauhaus Berchtesgaden with its cosy Bräustüberl is only 400m away, so you can leave the car
leave the car at home and drink one more beer. The ice rink and the
Obersalzberg cable car are only a 10-minute walk away, as is the centre of the village and the
"market", which can be reached after 900m.
Even without a car, many destinations can be reached on foot and the nearby bus stop
"Watzmann Therme" with RVO connection (e.g. directly to Salzburg) is only 3min away.

The above prices are plus spa tax of 3.10 euros for adults, 1.55 euros for children / youth from 7 to 16 years and 0.00 euros for children from 0 - 6 years per person and day of stay. (subject to change) A BREAKFAST BUFFET can be booked on site for 15€ per person/day at any time at short notice. E-filling station: Our house is equipped with an 11KW E-filling station, we charge the current KWPreis of the electricity provider!

By car: Our house is very easy to find via the A8 both via Bad Reichenhall (without vignette) and viaSalzburg (Attention vignette obligation!). By train: Our house is only 2km away from the main station Berchtesgaden and can be reached quickly by bus or cab. Also on foot along the Berchtesgadener Ache visit us more and more hiking guests in about 20min.By plane: Nearest airport: Salzburg Amadeus Mozart. Distance approx. 20km. Many connections from German cities like Berlin/Cologne/Düsseldorf and Hamburg! Cab shuttle possible - please call in advance!

Die Wohnung war ruhig, das Gästehaus hat eine zentrale Lage und die Bushaltestelle ist ein paar Gehminuten entfernt.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
War alles super, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt finde ich die Wohnung für 2 Personen besser geeignet wie für mehrere.
Wir waren zu dritt und drei Nächte da war ok.

Wir wollten in den Heilsalzstollen, deshalb prima Lage. Ruhige Wohnung. Ideal zum Ausruhen und zur inneren Ruhe zu kommen. Auch der Fußweg zur Stadt ist kurz.
Die Pünktlichkeit des Busverkehrs ist eine Katastrophe. Kommt der Bus ? Ist er voll und läßt uns stehen oder gibt es vielleicht einen Stehplatz. Steger
