Fantastic place to stay - lovely, comfortable house - warm, plenty of room for everyone, good kitchen. The house looks out over Lake Grasmere - the view from the sitting room window seat is just lovely. Good footpaths out onto the fells from the doorstep. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Thank you.

This property is in an excellent location for walks from the door and for accessing other parts of the Lakes. The property was beautifully presented (although the high ceilings needed cleaning of cobwebs), and the kitchen and utility were well equipped for a large party. Gorgeous views from the house and wildlife in abundance. A really enjoyable stay.

Wonderful accommodation with spectacular views. Lots of space with everything we needed. Log fire was a blessing on the cold evenings. Only problem we had was the electric shower was either freezing or too hot. Would definitely stay again.
