VILLA PIANA - WITH SWIMMING POOL AND LARGE PRIVATE GARDEN


Charming villa surrounded by nature, located in Tricase, in the south of Salento, 5 minutes (by car) from the sea, especially from Marina Serra, a lovely seaside resort overlooking the Adriatic Sea.


Equipped with large outdoor spaces, intended for varied uses, well-kept garden and private pool, will guarantee those who choose an exclusive stay in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.


The villa can accommodate up to 6 guests, with the possibility of using the sofa bed.


The name of the villa refers to the name of the district (Palane) in which it resides and to the Torre Palane (also called Torre Piana), a fortification and defense work of the Salento Adriatic coast located at Marina Serra. These watchtowers, dating back to the 16th century, were designed by Charles V to protect himself from the threats of the Turks after the violent conflict of 1480.


The tower was visually connected to the south with Nasparo Tower and to the north with Tricase Port Tower (no longer existing). Torre Palane was built a few meters from the famous "natural pool", the charming cove of Marina Serra.


THE LOCATION




Villa Piana is located in a rural district characterized by large extensions of olive trees and majestic vallonee oaks.


The surrounding area is included in the SIC zone (site of Community interest) and for a part in the Otranto-Santa Maria di Leuca-Bosco di Tricase Natural Park, a protected natural area that guarantees the protection of biodiversity (link).


This area is rich in cycling and walking routes including the path that leads to the Oak Vallonea of the Hundred Knights which we will talk about later.


The villa is also well placed logistically. It is immersed in the nature and quiet of the Salento countryside and is not far from the town of Tricase (1.5 km) and the sea (natural pool of Marina Serra 2 km).


THE COMPOSITION OF THE VILLA - THE HOUSE


The villa is about 1500 square meters and has a three-room apartment of about 70 square meters covered in stone, respecting the harmony of the surrounding landscape.


The house consists of two bedrooms (both air-conditioned) one double and the other with single beds that on request can be combined with a double, full bathroom with shower and a large living room with kitchen (with oven, complete and equipped), internal fireplace and sofa bed.


THE OUTDOOR AREA



The outdoor area of Villa Piana will allow you to spend pleasant moments in the open area.


The wooden patio is well-appointed and is the ideal place to eat outside or relax. The barbecue corner (with gas grill) will allow you to organize tasty barbecues.


The pool area (with above-ground swimming pool of 6.35 x 3.75) is well furnished with sun loungers, deck chairs and parasols, to cool off during the hottest summer hours or simply to sunbathe.


Most of the garden is covered by lawn and the villa is completely fenced, so you can safely accommodate your four-legged friends.


Finally there is a bathroom with washing machine and shower and large private parking inside the property.
