Nestled on the edge of the peaceful village of Dundry, surrounded by countryside yet just 20 minutes from Bristol, is this stunning holiday home.
A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the west apartment in Elwell Stables is a beautiful contemporary space, with chic decor, two generous bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms, and bright airy open plan living space.
With full height windows and folding doors out to the patio area, there are plenty of calm spaces to relax and unwind. The main living area has a wood burner, television, and sofas, there is a choice of dining tables to eat at, whether you prefer a casual breakfast or a sit down meal in the evening.
There is also an additional living space up on a mezzanine level enjoying skylight windows looking up to the clouds, perfect for an afternoon nap!
The kitchen has everything guests will need for their stay, including dishwasher, fridge, combi-oven, 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a freezer and washing machine in the separate utility space.
The bedrooms, one kingsize and one twin (can be super king if required) are spacious with ample storage, and both enjoy their own french doors onto the patio and en-suite walk in shower rooms with rainfall shower heads.
Outside, the patio area is secluded, has a table and chairs suitable for al fresco dining, and a charcoal BBQ is provided for use if desired. There are two parking spaces available on the private driveway, and are within easy reach up a few steps from the front entrance. Please note there is an open pond at the front of the property next to the parking area, and as such children of 6 yrs and under are not able to be accommodated.
Locally, there are several other villages as well as Dundry, offering convenience stores, Post office, and a selection of pubs. Nature lovers are particularly well catered for at Elwell Stables, with rolling countryside offering endless walks and a plethora of wildlife to be enjoyed from the doorstep.
The vibrant city of Bristol is approx a 20 minute drive away, and Bath, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site, is also within easy reach.
For interesting days out, guests will be well placed to visit Cheddar Gorge, famous for its cliffs and caverns, Glastonbury Abbey, Portishead Beach, a wide selection of National Trust properties, and the Mendip Hills area of outstanding natural beauty.
