Pipistrelle House is a beautiful contemporary home for a family of four seeking a tranquil escape.
Situated in the countryside between the villages of Brandesburton and Leven in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the property is ideally situated as a base for countryside walks with easy access to the coast and local attractions.
Internally, the open-plan living space takes centre stage, providing a fabulous area for everyone to gather for some quality family time.
Lounge on one of the inviting sofas in front of the television for an evening of relaxation, while the chef of the group gets to work in the amply equipped kitchen.
Nestled amongst the sleek grey units you will find a good selection of appliances; with a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge and a washing machine, the property hosts all the essentials for a week-long break.
Sit together at the dining table to enjoy your home-cooked meals, with the light pouring into the room from the large imposing windows, settled within the feature exposed brick walls.
Tucked beneath the eaves of the dwelling on the first floor is a good sized double and a twin bedroom, both with simple yet stylish interiors providing an ideal layout for a small family.
The local village hosts everything you need from shops for your last-minute ingredients to takeaways or pubs and restaurants for a more relaxed indulgent evening.
Brandesburton has its own golf course and shooting ground with a number of fishing lakes to explore for a true countryside experience whilst Leven has a well-equipped social club, airfield and walks by the canal and River Hull.
For a day on the waves, head to Hornsea Beach or further up the coast to Bridlington, Filey or Scarborough where you can participate in a variety of watersports or simply soak in the sun. Alternatively take a trip to the historic town of Beverley, home to a wide range of independent shops, a cobbled market square and the beautiful Beverley Minster.
For a truly tranquil retreat, Pipistrelle House is perfect for you and your loved ones, at any time of the year.

The cottage was very comfortable with plenty of space. The downstairs walk in shower was the best !!! Good tv, although a darker blind in the window behind would help. Negatives for an elderly person- the stairs, steep & narrow- hard work with a suitcase and the pebbles to & from the car park were difficult to walk on, especially with bags

Cottage was spacious and spotless Everything you needed for a comfortable stay was there There is some noise as the cottage sits next to a busy road but this was mostly at peak times The only thing I would add and this is for a few we have stayed in is that in this day and age I would expect all holiday let’s to have a smart TV not just a normal one
