The Piggery is a cosy, comfortable place to stay. We managed circular walks from the door step. It was lovely seeing the dairy cows in the barn opposite with their newly born calves. The owners are friendly and helpful. We were lucky to have good dry weather for our walks. Plenty to do/see a short drive away also. We enjoyed our week's stay.

Lovely place to stay. Warm, comfortable, the best for our stay was also because it was all on one level for my elderly parents with accessible bathroom & elderly/ disabled facilities. Although on a working farm you were not disturbed by any noise at all. The host Sue was was vey friendly & helpfull. We would definitely return

A wonderful place in the peak district which has the needs of those with physical disabilities in mind, but not clinical or in your face, wide doors wet room recliner toilet rail , all amazing. Located on a working farm it was lovely to see wildlife and hear the mooing.friendly folk that came to check on us in the heavy snow
