Rambling over three storeys and with elegant period features, it is a comfortable and stylish house for a beach and town break.
From the hall, head into the big sitting room where you can relax and watch TV, and then through to a dining room.
If you don't feel like eating in the dining room, the well equipped kitchen, with its generous American-style fridge/freezer, modern range-style cooker and walk-in larder, has a handy breakfast table.
Take the stairs up to three airy bedrooms, and then up again to a charming en suite double under the eaves where you can gaze across Falmouth and the sea from an extending dormer window.
Around the house, the attractive garden has an old hot house for storing your surfing and sailing gear and a private enclosed courtyard for eating alfresco.
Stroll into the lively heart of the town to shop, eat out and enjoy a drink at a smart bar or visit the National Maritime Museum for a fascinating glimpse into England's nautical history.

The house can sleep five people in four bedrooms; an en-suite double on the second floor, two doubles and a single with cabin bed on the first floor, plus bathrooms on the first and ground floors. On the ground floor is a sitting room, a dining room, a kitchen/breakfast room and a utility. Outside is an enclosed garden with an old hot house for storing beach and sailing gear, lawn and a courtyard with furniture. Just 600 yards from the centre of the town and within easy reach of beaches, 1 Florence Place is an ideal base for an interesting holiday in Cornwall.
