This Greenodd lodge has two spacious ground floor bedrooms and an open plan living area.
Outside is a small veranda where you can sit and relax with a refreshing drink as you plan the day's activities.
This Cumbrian cottage is a perfect base to experience the beauty and magic of the Lake District at any time of the year.
Note: Although all ground floor, there are external steps up to the lodge and a 35 meter walk along a gravel path.

Buttermere is a detached wooden lodge in a secluded location near to Greenodd in the Lake District. The lodge sleeps three people and has one double bedroom, one single and a shower room. There is also an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking, a private decked area and shared grounds. Perfect for discovering the beauty of the Lake District National Park, Buttermere is a lovely romantic retreat. Note: Although all ground floor, there are external steps up to the lodge and a 35 metre walk along a gravel path. Note: this property is not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair.

I loved the surroundings. It is surrounded by fields where I saw sheep and heard owls and an abundance of other birds. It was lovely and quiet. The lodge was beautiful and warm. It was everything I expected and wanted.
Nothing. It was all really good.
Excellent place will definitely come again next year.

It was close to everything and quite aswell everything about the place was amazing.
We are booking to come next year.
Nothing loved it.
Initially looked like a wood cabin get away; felt like a shed.

The people seemed lovely from the interactions we had. The location was okay (the locals seemed 50/50, either very happy or disgusted by new people) the nature surrounding the cabin, the gardens. The wildlife, birds, rabbits, squirrel, deer, were all lovely to see throughout the day. The attractions nearby, like the zoo, boat trips, motor museum were great days out.
Inside the cabin was painted with cob webs and dead/living spiders and other insects. You weren't allowed to control the heating so asking for help to change felt awkward. It hadn't been cleaned as there looked to be feaces in the bathroom and the floors were covered in stains and crumbs. The hoover...
