This Greenodd lodge has two spacious ground floor bedrooms and an open plan living area.

This Cumbrian cottage is a perfect base to experience the beauty and magic of the Lake District at any time of the year.
Note: Although all ground floor, there are external steps up to the lodge and a 35 meter walk along a gravel path.

Buttermere is a detached wooden lodge in a secluded location near to Greenodd in the Lake District. The lodge sleeps three people and has one double bedroom, one single and a shower room. There is also an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking, a private decked area and shared grounds. Perfect for discovering the beauty of the Lake District National Park, Buttermere is a lovely romantic retreat. Note: Although all ground floor, there are external steps up to the lodge and a 35 metre walk along a gravel path. Note: this property is not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair.

The setting of the accommodation was absolutely fabulous and location good for visiting local area. It was spacious, comfortable, warm and clean. The decor was a bit tired and a few more kitchen utensils would have been good. Overall good and I would definitely stay there again if visiting the area.

We have been staying at cabins for the past 30 years it’s our go to place to rest and relax the cabins have everything in them to ensure a comfortable stay they are clean and warm and welcoming
There are nearby pubs which all do excellent food beautiful walks or just views through the window to sit back and look at

The accommodation has just what you need for a lovely quiet and peaceful break, the grounds are idyllic and well manicured. I've never slept so well in years and that was including storm Amy, there's 3 great pubs with excellent food in all, and just a short drive from Buttermere. Well recommended if you want peace in the middle of nowhere. Many thanks
