This lovely holiday home is set in the West Sussex village of Turners Hill on the borders of the three counties of Kent, Surrey and East Sussex.
These historic counties are full of castles, picturesque towns and villages, National Trust properties and award-winning Gardens.
Lake View is in an ideal location to explore everything these counties have to offer. Located above the owner's double garage and over two floors, this extremely spacious accommodation is beautifully decorated, tastefully furnished and equipped to the highest standard, making this into a highly desirable self-catering holiday home. The light, bright open plan living area with its contemporary kitchen makes this an ideal choice for families and couples to get together after days out. French doors lead from the sitting room area out onto the raised decking with views over the lake and woodland, where guests can relax and unwind while watching the wild-life swoop and fish swim in the lake just below.
If you wish to enjoy long lingering dinners over wine and soft lighting, then this property also has a separate dining room. The large master bedroom is off the living area on the first floor and the even larger family bedroom, which can accommodate up to four, is completely separate on the floor above.
Both bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms/WC so privacy is guaranteed. This makes this an ideal choice when larger or extended families or couples are holidaying together. Nearby: The village is only a short walk from the door with two pubs overlooking a village green, each serving delicious meals and offering local ales. Gatwick Airport (9 miles) Three Bridges train station (5 miles) Fast and reliable direct service to London.
London Bridge (Thameslink) in 38mins. The South coastal towns of Brighton and Hove (25 miles) with their unique shops and attractions are just a 35min drive crossing the beautiful South Downs National Park.

Miswells Cottages - Lake View is a lovely property on first and second floors situated in the village of Turners Hill just three miles from East Grinstead in West Sussex. The property can sleep six people in one king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower and one family room with one double bed and one pull-out stacker bed with en-suite shower. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with breakfast area and sitting area and dining room. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a raised decked terrace with furniture. Miswells Cottages - Lake View is a lovely property well located for days out exploring walks and woodlands in the Sussex countryside. Please note: This property only allows Saturday arrivals and departures.
Please note: Unfortunately there is no fishing allow, private lake, however the fish do love to be fed from the balcony

We loved the cottage; clean, spacious and cosy.
The kitchen was very well equipped. Lovely large bedrooms. And the beds were so comfortable.
Ample parkingspace.
The owners were very hospitable and caring. We loved the pond with the fish.
Worthwile to visit again.

Lake View is large and spacious with a lovely outlook on the lake. The kitchen is one of the best stocked holiday let kitchens I have cooked in, very much like being at home. It is a great place to stay to visit so many different historical sites within easy driving distances plus many walks. Linda is very friendly and ensures you have a good stay.

Very useful location for our needs, cottage was spacious, well equipped and delightfully overlooking the lake that gave it all a peaceful feeling. We were able to visit all we wanted within a reasonable distance, golf courses were close by. Using the train service at Three Bridges for Brighton was a pleasure and inexpensive. All in all would recommend this lovely cottage.
