Constructed in 1904, this wonderful Peak District cottage offers four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully-equipped fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a lovely open fire.
Expertly renovated, the cottage retains some of the original features including leaded windows and tiled floors.
There is a sun room and a large garden with lovely views of the Staffordshire countryside.
The full extent of the cottage's transformation was featured in the popular TV series Homes Under The Hammer.

we really enjoyed our stay at Gun End Cottage, a lovely quiet setting a good base to explore the area and there is plenty about, it was a joy to be greeted by the sheep and lambs in the adjoining field. the cottage is a nice size, clean, tidy and fully equipped, owner is very helpful and responding quickly to queries.

We had a comfortable and peaceful stay at Gun End Cottage. It feels as if it's in the middle of nowhere but is conveniently close to everything you need. A car is essential for your stay here.
Our host was communicative and helpful throughout.

We had a lovely week at Gun End Cottage. I would definitely recommend but only if you don't want to be in a busy area! It really is a delight in the peace and quiet with only sheep for the closest neighbours. We found fresh farm eggs at two places locally on our travels which was lovely! My only request would be to have a bigger towel for after a shower!
