Our bright, spacious holiday apartments and cozy hotel rooms are the ideal place to unwind and let your soul dangle. The historic Dösterhof has been in existence since around 1650 at its current location and has been extensively and lovingly renovated.
The Dösterhof presents itself as a certified arche farm with a variety of endangered domestic animal breeds and as an animal-friendly, transparent agricultural operation. We offer you four beautiful, generously designed holiday apartments, individually furnished with much love for historical details.
A living environment to feel good in, with space to breathe and cozy nooks.
All holiday apartments are equipped with high-quality travertine natural stone floors, bright spacious rooms, and modern bathrooms.
Where possible, old architectural details such as stone masonry and window sills made from old oak beams have been preserved.
Alternatively, you can also enjoy relaxing overnight stays in our six hotel rooms. We are certified as a hiker-friendly host by the Hiking Association of Germany and are "Quality Host of Wanderbares Deutschland". You can start the circular hiking trail "Traumschleife - Weg des Wassers" directly at the farm.
We offer cyclists the opportunity to store their bikes and charge e-bikes.
Families are warmly welcome and can let off steam on our small playground.
You may also bring your four-legged friend upon request. Let yourself be pampered in our farm café and farm shop with homemade delicacies.
In our restaurant operation in the farm café, our team offers you fresh, seasonal cuisine with our farm's own meat, home-baked cakes and tortes, as well as an extensive drink selection with coffee specialties, homemade lemonades, freshly tapped beer, and wines from selected vintners.
Starting in April, you can enjoy our sunny beer garden.
Our kitchen is open continuously.
Farm café open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and on holidays. In our farm shop, you will find fresh regional food products.
The offer exclusively includes meat and sausage products from our own animals and from slaughter in our in-house butcher shop.
The Hochwälder LandEi comes from our chickens in the mobile barn.
From our own eggs, we offer you pasta variations and homemade egg liqueur.
Homemade jams, chutneys, etc., round off the offer.
In addition, you will find a full range of special regional and organic food products such as vegetables, fruits, baked goods, and dairy products.
Farm shop open Friday and Saturday as well as by request. The payment is made in advance by bank transfer.
For bookings through Booking.com and AirBnB, the payment is made directly through the portal A deposit of 100€ (small vacation apartment), 150€ (large vacation apartment) or 25% of the total price may be charged after booking.
The deposit is due upon receipt of the invoice, and the remaining payment is due 30 days before arrival Cancellation is free of charge up to 30 days before the arrival date (if booking costs are incurred through an online portal, these are to be covered), for cancellations up to 14 days before arrival, 50% of the price is due for cancellations from 14 days before arrival, 90% of the price is due We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. Check-in is possible from 3 p.m., check-out until 11 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon consultation. The vacation apartment must be handed over broom-clean upon departure. The key handover takes place via a key box. You will receive the pin in advance by email. Please return the key at departure in the courtyard café or place it back in the key box and scramble the numbers Pets are allowed upon request (up to 2 dogs, depending on size, 10 € per dog per day) A baby cot can be provided upon request (free of charge) (bed linen and bedding for children are not provided).
