Situated right in the heart of the market square in our historic old town, yet in a quiet spot, this listed building dating from 1605 lies directly opposite Thuringia’s oldest town hall. Just a few steps away, the Chinese Garden was built in 2011; diagonally opposite, you can marvel at the beautifully restored St Peter and Paul’s Church. Take a short stroll to Runneburg Castle at the end of the street. It captivates visitors with its fascinating history and is situated on the old Post Street. A short walk to the Gondelteich pond is perfect for a leisurely stroll and a spot to relax.
Various restaurants are also within easy walking distance. Shopping facilities are about 500 metres away, and bakeries are about 200–300 metres away.
