Situated in a quiet, rural part of Anglesey, this cluster of detached holiday properties are located at Melin Newydd windmill, which has been featured on Channel 4’s ’Restoration Man’ with George Clarke.
The Windmill (ref 29567) has a lovely living area on the ground floor and a double bedroom on each of the first and second floors, from where a steep, space saver staircase leads up to a third floor living room with a balcony and fabulous views out over the surrounding countryside.
Full of original features oozing character, The Windmill has been the subject of a simply stunning restoration, which makes this a cosy and quirky place to stay.
Owl Cottage (ref 29569) features a conservatory living room, with picture windows opening to the fields, and two gallery bedrooms, whilst The Top Barn (ref 29568) is another barn conversion with lots of original features.
These three properties are just a 10-minute drive from the delightful sandy beach at Rhosneigr - indeed, with 125 miles of coastline on the Isle of Anglesey you’re never far away from a beach or rocky cove to explore.
A short distance away is the RSPB reserve at South Stack near Holyhead, whilst children will love Foel Farm Park or Anglesey Sea Zoo at Brynsiencyn.
The NT mansion of Plas Newydd is well worth a visit, as is pretty Beaumaris with its castle, whilst the mountains of Snowdonia can be easily reached back on the mainland.

We all felt the windmill was fascinating and enjoyed going up to the top room to see the beautiful views
However we did feel it needed a freshen up and the windows had lots of condensation suggest double glazing obviously keeping the same style Must be fit and able!

Fantastic quirky windmill with a lovely feel.
Beautifully laid out and equipped. Somewhat remote from any immediate amenities but everything in Anglesey is not that far away by car. Fantastic views from windmill. Would strongly recommend it.

A fantastic week in a stunning setting. I spent many holidays in Anglesey as a child. The Windmill is beautifully appointed and in a superb location. Loved watching the sunset in the top sitting room. We quickly got used to the spiral staircases!.
Overall a brilliant week in a unique location that has helped me fall in love with Anglesey all over again! My husband is converted too!
