Le Cordanche gîte is an old detached farmhouse with exposed beams and stone walls, comfortable and well equipped.
In open countryside on outskirts of village, Le Cordanche is ideally located for exploring the Vercors, Drôme valley and Valence plain or simply relaxing in this peaceful, shady setting.
Ground floor: kitchen opening onto living room, lounge, utility room, WC, entrance hall for storing hiking kit, bikes. 1st floor: 3 bedrooms (2 single beds OR king-size bed) (2 single beds OR king-size bed) (2 single beds), bathroom, separate WC.
Shady terrace and outdoor area (500 sq.m.).
Gîte bordered by organic crops (fodder, cereals, lavender), grown by son of owners' family. 15 min. from Chabeuil and Crest, near foothills of the Vercors and Regional Nature park, La Baume-Cornillane is a peaceful little village (pop. 450), said to be home to 'la Pangée' (Pangea), originally the centre of the earth.
On the doorstep: discovery trail around ruins of old medieval village and castle keep (fine views).
The Grotte de la Dame (cave) and waterfall also worth a visit.
Other magical places nearby: Gare des Ramières (nature reserve visitor centre) 20 min., Upie bird sanctuary (birds from around the world) 10km.

Gîte vraiment très agréable, au calme, avec tout le confort nécessaire. Nous étions un groupe de 9 pour un enterrement de vie de jeune fille et chacune a été ravie du choix du lieu. Propriétaires disponibles, réactifs et très sympathiques.Merci pour l’accueil, je recommande votre logement!

Lieu qui correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes : accueil chaleureu, maison spacieuse et bien aménagée, beau paysage et grand calme.Proche du Vercors et de ses lieu historiques.Météo très clémente, on a pu manger dehors sur la terrasse protégée du vent.Nous recommandons et reviendrons surement !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le gîte, au pied des montagnes, au milieu des grillons ! Gîte bien aménagé et équipé pour accueillir un groupe avec grandes tables (interieure et extérieure) et vaisselle adaptée. Literie propre et confortable, nous sommes très satisfaits.
