Martine and Luc welcome you to the Gîte des Gentianes, adjoining their home.
They will do all they can to ensure you enjoy your stay.
Ground floor: kitchen opening onto terrace, lounge/dining room, bedroom (double bed), bathroom, separate WC.
Enclosed parking space with gate.
Peaceful setting, covered terrace (nearly 27 sq.m.) ideal for al fresco meals and just relaxing. You'll be staying near an important WW2 French Resistance site.
The Gîte des Gentianes in outstanding location, just 300m from centre of charming village of La Chapelle-en-Vercors (shops, Tourist Information office) which is busy all year round.
Sports activities in summer and winter, beautiful varied scenery that you can admire whatever the season.
The Grands Goulets (hundred-year-old roads carved through rock), Bourne gorges and the Combe Laval (blind valley) are worth visiting in their own right as well as taking you to other major attractions in the region.
Scialet de la Draye Blanche (cave, pot-holing), Luire cave, Font-d'Urle and Col de Rousset ski resorts, Herbouilly cross-country ski centre, French Resistance museum, cemetery and memorial, Hauts Plateaux nature reserve.
Not forgetting Choranche cave, Presles cliffs, Bournillon cirque, .

La beauté de la région fut réhaussée par un accueil et des conditions d’hébergement que nous n’avons pas encore rencontrées, tant elles furent ecellentes ; les propriétaires se sont montré d’une générosité etrême ; merci et bravo à eu.

Séjour des plus agréables. Propriétaires accueillants sympathiques et bienveillants. Tranquillité assurée à recommander. Nous reviendrons. Le gîte est complet propre, avec tous les équipements derniers cris. La wifi fonctionne, enfin rien à redire.

Deuxième séjour dans ce gite toujours aussi confortable et accueillant. Luc et Martine sont toujours aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes, avec plein de surprises faites maison.Nous reviendrons pour profiter encore plus de la superbe terrasse (car il faisait un peu froid durant notre séjour).
