Jump off the treadmill for a while at Love Bird, one of ten award-winning cottages at Haddon Grove Farm, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park.
Located just outside the historic market town of Bakewell, the sensitively converted barns and cottages are set amongst three acres of beautiful private countryside with views over Lathkill Dale NNR. Each cottage is perfectly set up for a family friendly break with fabulous facilities on-site including an indoor swimming pool.
The perfect bolthole for a romantic couple’s break, Love Bird is a delightful dog friendly ground floor cottage in a former stable block, with comforts brought very much up to date.
It benefits from a wonderfully light open plan living space with vaulted ceilings, comprising a sitting area with comfy sofas and log burner, dining zone and kitchen.
Love Bird has a luxurious ground floor bedroom with large en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. The kitchen is more than ready if you want to cook that romantic meal and you can have Champagne on ice and delicious Godiva Chocolates waiting for your loved one on your arrival.
We’ve detailed more in the “Things to Do” section. Seriously indulge in the range of activities on-site facilities, enjoyed by all of the farm’s guests.
Or simply kick back and relax.
Champion the glorious leisure centre within the tranquil settings, offering a shared indoor heated swimming pool (open 7am to 10pm daily) and games room (pool table, table tennis). You have shared use of the grounds with plenty of outdoor seating and built in barbecue areas.
Plus an open field which is equipped with football nets and badminton facilities.
There is a communal laundry room, a secure bike shed and a boot room with walking maps and guides to the areas activities.

We had a lovely time staying at Slipper Lo with our 2 children. A well equipped and homely cottage, with welcome fizz and biscuits!\r\nWe really enjoyed the surrounding space, kids loved the play park and warm swimming pool.\r\nVery close to Bakewell, we enjoyed cycling a walks nearby.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas.

We occupied Bramble and Slipper Lo to celebrate Mums 80th. We found the rooms comfortable and cosy and properly supplied. We were thoroughly blown away by the pool and games room. Parking was good. The hosts were very accommodating when we needed help, which we appreciate greatly.

We hired three properties at Haddon Grove all of them were excellent beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you might need the location is lovely and we all really enjoyed our stay there
