Properties of this style are a rare find in York.
Tucked away at the foot of the city walls is 6 Monkbar Court.
Although a terrace property, it certainly has the feel of a cosy, country cottage.
On entering you are greeted by the the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.
The lounge has the added benefit of a wood burner which again is a real rarity for a property so centrally located. The kitchen is complimented by a cosy dining space to seat 2 located at the side of the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay at 6 Monks Bar Court. Its a very well appointed little cottage, tucked under the walls. Do central but also quiet. Sitting in the house listening to the many languages passing on the walls was enchanting. Staff at Staysyork have been so helpful on this and recent trips, we hope to stay with them again.
