The big terrace with garden furniture affords a wonderful view of the river and the surrounding mountains.

There are shops in the neighbouring localities and there are two outdoor pools and a recreational lake 10km away. There are very beautiful hiking trails and cycling trails in the area. It is 25 km to Trier, Germany’s oldest town, and about 40km to Bernkastel-Kues.
