Haus Elfriede is located in a quiet, sunny south-facing position with a wonderful mountain view in the heart of Reit im Winkl. The cosy rooms are furnished with solid wooden furniture and have a bathroom with shower/WC, balcony and TV. We also offer a 2-room holiday flat for two or three people. A rich breakfast gives you energy for the whole day, which you can have either in the breakfast room or on the sun terrace. Our sunbathing lawn is at your disposal for sunbathing. A large car park is located directly at the house. The open-air swimming pool, the children's ski school, the cross-country ski runs and hiking trails can be reached in a few minutes. Your advantage as our guest: We are partner landlord/operator of the Reit im Winkl swimming card. This gives you the opportunity to receive further free services in addition to our own, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl open-air swimming pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool and the lido pools at Walchsee. Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description
Leave the motorway A8 Munich-Salzburg at the exit Bernau and turn left in the direction of Grassau - Marquartstein and from there in the direction of Reit im Winkl. In the village you drive to the tourist information at the maypole, here you turn right into the street "Am Hauchen" after 150 m you turn left and immediately right into the Walmbergstraße and after 350 m you reach our house.

Description of the accommodation
Our holiday flat for up to 3 people has a large kitchen/living room (14 m2) with TV and stereo system. Bedroom (20 m2) with shower and WC and a large south-facing balcony.
